“Be still, and know that I am God.”
Sarah, I see you. I see the mental lists running through your mind, the constant pull in a dozen directions, the way you give and give until there's almost nothing left. Today, God is not asking you to do more or be more. He's inviting you to stop — just for a moment — and remember that He is still God even when you feel like you're barely holding it together. Your worth isn't measured by how much you accomplish or how well you keep all the plates spinning. You are loved, right now, in this stretched-thin moment.
I am allowed to rest, even when everything feels urgent.
Set a timer for two minutes. Sit down, close your eyes, and place both hands over your heart. Breathe slowly and say aloud: 'God, You are still God. I can rest.'
Sarah, may you feel God's gentle hands lifting the weight from your shoulders today. You don't have to carry it all. He's got you, and He's got them, and He is enough.
